Always wanted to run the London Marathon? Now is your chance to take part, while making a real difference to the lives of former racehorses!
We have a coveted charity place in the 2026 London Marathon, and we’re looking for a dedicated runner to take on this incredible challenge in support of Retraining of Racehorses.

What we ask
We’re looking for a dedicated individual who is committed to training hard, fundraising, and completing the marathon while championing the retraining and welfare of former racehorses. On top of this, you will need to commit to:
- A non-refundable registration fee of £50 (only payable if selected)
- A minimum fundraising target: £2,500 to support the retraining and welfare of former racehorses
Please note RoR reserve the right to select an alternative candidate should the selected applicant become injured or not be able reach their fundraising target.
